2. Hours pass with no visitors to the box. At 5 PM, Benny turns up the radio as 'The Situation Room' begins — hosts Bev Sirnow and Chuck Vessler introduce their sponsor Rainy Days Inc. (umbrellas/galoshes, stock up 13%).
3. Guest Major-Chaplain Ewan McFoster, deputy director of the Magical Crimes Convox (Iridescent Host), explains the ceaseless rain is a symptom of illegal augury — someone circumventing augury allotments established after the Incident of '24. He references the loss of Star 13 over Tor Strand as a past augury disaster.
4. Anzu rolls Lore Academia and recalls the Incident of 524: over a century ago, Calaria used it as a pretext to break a trade deal with Raelion, claiming Raelion was over-divining the future.
