Iconoclasm Hits the Road

After destroying Teller's Run, the party retreats to the Sin and Tonic and finally shares their hidden motives for the pilgrimage. Aut visits them in a dream to offer deals they refuse, dropping ominous hints about the twins. They then embark on a road trip to Rag and Roost, surviving a magical caltrop trap and a mercenary roadblock before arriving at the completed strider.

1. Party returns to the Sin and Tonic after bombing Teller's Run; they hold a private meeting in the back office, each sharing their true motivations for the pilgrimage.
2. Johnny reveals he used to commune with the Watcher (his god) upon each death, but lost contact after hearing the Voidsong; he fears a third death may be permanent.
3. Anzu admits he is a Qureshi noble triplet whose sister has gone rogue with Embercall; he hopes to save her rather than kill her.
4. Benny reveals he is an android created by a heart named Atum — not a human child, though genuinely nine years old; he has potentially dangerous siblings he cannot fully track.
5. Argyle discloses he is a celestial formerly of the Judge, bound to demon-spawn Argyle (the Judge's grandson); he must find and recover Argyle.
6. Johnny produces four custom 'Iconoclasm' denim jackets for the group; the party shops extensively — buying a second bomb (110g rushed), clockwork wrist grapplers, earplugs, snap leaves, a spacious pouch, bottled catharsis, obsidian goggles, and a raven.
7. Anzu purchases a Time Pocket scroll and a superb repair kit; Anzu's player and others coordinate gear for the road trip.
8. The party is pulled into the Black and White dream space by Aut, who offers two deals: unlock berth 4's door on the strider, or draw three dots at the Voidsong site. The party deliberates and declines both offers.
9. Aut warns them the twins (Anouk and Anaïs) have not been honest about their involvement in the Prime Minister's assassination, and confirms the Giant is stuck behind the firmament at high starward coordinates.
10. The party departs Hallia with the twins; the twins cast Hallowed Ground on the car for protection. Argyle casts Show the Way, identifying two possible routes; they take the main road south.
11. A Long-Range Caltrops spell (rank 5 abjuration) latches onto the car's hood, impeding movement; Anzu identifies it and the party removes and discards the hood rather than dispel it.
12. A roadblock of three vehicles and hired mercs (with a rocket launcher) confronts the party; Johnny summons a huge illusory black dragon to scatter them, Anzu casts Vector Screen, and they dodge a rocket. Anzu telekinetically pops the pursuing car's tire, causing it to flip; the party escapes and arrives at Rag and Roost.
13. Recap of the one-shot: a team was cannon-launched onto Tithe (a planet-sized Thessian being consumed by Harrow), fought spiders, planted a cognitive beacon, and Sedecium harvested a third of Tithe. They learned Sedecium has effectively cracked distance resurrection.

Cliffhanger The party arrives at the city of Rag and Roost and sees the massive completed strider standing in its center, awaiting its pilgrims. The pilgrimage is about to begin.
